I am a Professor in the School of Computing. My research interests span computer systems, computer networks, and operating systems in general, with a particular focus on drones, wireless sensor networks, mobile and ubitquitous computing, and security and privacy.

My research focuses on sensing, communication and actuation in mobile and ubiquitous computing systems.  Notable projects include a Best Paper Award for research on signal processing to detect drones from their RF transmissions, an ARC Linkage grant on autonomous landing of drones with an Australian industry partner, and revolutionizing operating systems design through the automated application of reinforcement learning to optimize resource allocation according to user preferences.
